Pfract portcreate vertically tilable fractals using polar coordinates.
Using pfract (and colorize) you can create fractal images which are vertically tilable. This means that when the image is repeated vertically, the edges match up to produce a seamless complete picture. The background to this page is an example of a vertically tilable fractal created with pfract. Pfract was created by Mika Seppa, and extra information on pfract, including documentation and source code, is available at his tileable image gallery. The archive accessible on this page contains Atari 68000 and 68030+FPU binaries of pfract. Mario Becroft <mb@gem.win.co.nz> |
