bird.jpeg [small] A bird.

dotrice.jpeg [small] Copied from a picture of Karen Dotrice (Jane Banks in Mary Poppins). It is not quite like the original, which had a somewhat hopeful expression, whereas mine looks more sad. Drawing this face was quite revealing, as the geometry is not what seemed intuitively correct. I still have much to learn.

ellie_melodie.jpeg [small] My first two attempts at drawing people from a photograph.

fish.jpeg [small] A fish.

hands.jpeg [small] A pair of hands which I sketched while working on another picture. There is a history of these hands for those who are curious.

heron.jpeg [small] A heron standing in moonlight. It was to go on a birthday card.

light.jpeg [small] A child with something floating within her hands. There is a history of how this picture was made for those who are interested.

mountains.jpeg [small] Since I have taken little notice of mountains when I chanced to see them, I'm afraid I was not able to draw these ones realistically. Still, you can tell that they are mountains. I drew them to illustrate the songs The Sound of Music and Climb Ev'ry Mountain.

poppins.jpeg [small] A quite rushed drawing of Mary Poppins (practically perfect in every way). Well, the drawing does not entirely live up to that description. Also drawn to illustrate some songs.

ricky.jpeg [small] An uncle, drawn from a photograph of a few years ago.

swans.jpeg [small] Two swans of old acquaintance.
